The plate has been painted with lead free, food safe glazes and underglazes. This is a stoneware plate and would ideally not be washed in the dishwasher but it can take a vigorous hand wash.
Every single plate is hand-thrown and painted in her Sussex studio and is fired in a kiln in a nearby village.
Due to the handmade nature of the plates there may be small imperfections. These make the plates truly unique in a world of mass production.
