Yes — every item is individually hand-painted, making each piece completely unique. From brushstroke to varnish, the entire process is done with care in Sophia’s Sussex studio.

Can I request a custom design or colour palette?

Absolutely. The bespoke service allows you to commission pieces tailored to your space — whether that’s a lampshade in specific colours or size, a hand-painted tray to mark an occasion, or a mural that tells a personal story.

How does the bespoke process work?

After an initial enquiry, a call outlining ideas and inspiration will happen. From there, design concepts and painting will be provided, followed by your approval. Once confirmed, your piece is hand-painted to order. Timelines vary depending on the scale and complexity of the project.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, international shipping is available. Please reach out to Sophia to confirm rates etc before purchasing. Please note that international customers are responsible for any customs or import duties.

How long will my order take to arrive?

For non-bespoke pieces, please allow 2–3 weeks for dispatch, as items are painted to order. Bespoke commissions may take longer, and a timeline will be provided upon confirmation.

Can I see examples of past bespoke work?

What materials do you use?

All materials are chosen for both quality and longevity. Lamp bases are wooden, lampshades are made out of a thick card and lined with fire-safe PVC, trays are crafted from solid wood; all paints and finishes are selected to ensure durability while preserving artistic detail.

Are your lamps wired and ready to use?

Yes — all lamp bases come fully wired. If you're ordering from outside the UK, wiring can be adapted on request, please reach out to Sophia to discuss this before purchasing.

Can I return or exchange an item?

The pieces are hand-painted, meaning that returns are only accepted for faulty or damaged items. Bespoke or personalised commissions are non-refundable. If there’s an issue with your order, please get in touch and it will be resolved promptly.

Do you work with interior designers or commercial spaces?
